One of the main problems with credit cards is that a lot of people tend to overcharge their accounts and then they are up to their necks in credit card debt with high-interest.  It is extremely hard to get out of credit card debt, but extremely easy to find yourself in it.

Balances on credit cards  that remain unpaid are easily the worse kind of debt you can be in.  It is extremely important that you come up with some kind of plan to pay off this debt and make it number one on your list of things to do.

The economy today is making it hard for everyone to stay ahead, and the average American credit card debt is growing everyday.  With everything going down hill today, many Americans are paying bills using their credit cards hoping that soon they will be able to afford the payments in a few months.  As the months come and go, many of us are still putting purchases on our credit cards in the hopes that soon everything will be okay.
